I think that we should avoid the 'noun: noun' structuring. It makes it difficult to link pages. That is to say, have 'Sterling', rather than 'People: Sterling'. -Flynn

Unforutnately, the alternative is to have disambiguation pages and Noun (noun) structures. Also the Noun: Noun structure makes it easier for me to wrangle pages and make sure that there are no orphans. But I'll think about it. --Jared Thaler 14:48, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I'm going to try it. Still going to keep prefixes for spirits, they are the one I'm most worried about having duplicate names after all.-- 22:15, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I hate being a grammar nazi, but inappropriate use of apostrophes to indicate plurals *really* grates on my nerves. The ONLY time you use '-s is to indicate a possesive, or as a contraction. NEVER as a plural. Please. --Flynn 08:52, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Actually, I was taught you also use 's to pluralize numbers and letters. Apparently there is some disagreement about whether that is proper except for lowercase letters.

I think we need a logo. Shall I see what I can dredge up? --Flynn 09:20, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Proper French

According to my parents, (my dad is French) "Cirque des perdus" is the correct wording. Mom (American but lived in France 6 years) points out that in French it is uncommon to capitalize more then the first word and names in a title. -Hope

All very true and pertinent. However, I would like to point out that unless we have any French-speaking PCs who'd be inclined to start whining about how incorrect the title is, I kind of like the idea that the people who named the circus IC just plain screwed it up, and neither know nor care that it's wrong. Not that it's especially important. ---Maestro 08:57, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but when I register the domain name, I want the domain name to use proper grammar, since I would be embarrassed by owning an ignorant sounding domain name :) So I asked her to find out what the proper grammar was.--WikiSysop 15:46, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
